Josie Campbell Dellenbaugh
![]() "Turkish Towel" ![]() "The Wind from Kashmir" Josie Campbell Dellenbaugh holds a BA Degree in Fine Arts from Chatham College, Pittsburgh, PA. From 1976-1978 she attended Rutgers University, Camden, NJ and Johnson Atelier in Princeton, NJ. Her sculpture has been exhibited widely in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She participated in the TAWA Soviet Exchange Exhibit, a traveling exhibit to Moscow, Russia. Her studios are located in Madison, NJ and in Center Harbor, NH. Her figurative sculptures, created from alabaster and bronze, have received numerous Awards of Merit and First Place Awards. Ms. Dellenbaugh's current works include a series of bronze sculptures in half life size; it is an ongoing study of ecclesiastical and spiritual columnar figures based on Sumerian and Medieval sculptures. Another recent creation, "Abiding Power of the Maternal", completed in 2006, is comprised of three sculptures: "Haitian Refugee", "African Pieta" and "Kosovo Refugee". "Aiming at Myself" , her first publication of printed artwork, is a Haiku diary enhanced by 53 of her color photographs. She is a member of New England Sculptors Association (NESA), League of New Hampshire Crafts, Hudson Valley Art Association, Salmagundi Club and the Drew Art Association. ![]() "Bikini Eve" |
